**What is Blind Tunes?**
Blind Tunes is a music ranking game where you listen to songs and rank them from best to worst. Depending on your blind mode, you might not know what song is playing until the final reveal. Create playlists, challenge friends, and see who really has the best taste in music.
**Is Blind Tunes free?**
Yes. Everyone gets free games every day with access to Classic Ranking mode and public playlists. Premium is a one-time $3.99 purchase that unlocks unlimited plays, Tournament Mode, Versus Mode, and removes ads. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
**What music services does Blind Tunes support?**
Blind Tunes works with Apple Music and YouTube. Apple Music gives you full-length song playback if you have a subscription. YouTube mode lets anyone play with music video playback. You can create either a music playlist or a video playlist but not mix them together.
**How do I create a playlist?**
Tap “Create Playlist” on the home screen. You can search for songs by name or artist, or paste a link from an existing Apple Music or YouTube playlist. Add your songs, name your playlist, and you’re ready to play.
**How do game codes work?**
When you create a playlist, Blind Tunes generates a unique 6-character game code. Share this code with friends so they can play the exact same playlist and compare rankings. Enter a code by tapping “Enter Game Code” on the home screen.
**What are the blind modes?**
Full Blind shows you no information about the song — just audio. Partial Blind gives you the album artwork only. Open Mode shows you everything, turning the game into a casual ranking session. You can choose your blind mode when you start a game.
**What is Tournament Mode?**
Tournament Mode puts your songs in a bracket format. Instead of ranking all songs at once, you compare them two at a time and pick a winner in each matchup. Songs advance through rounds until you have a champion. It’s a Premium feature.
**What is Versus Mode?**
Versus Mode is real-time multiplayer. You and a friend take turns ranking the same songs, and the game compares your results at the end. It’s a Premium feature.
**Can I play on my phone?**
Yes. Blind Tunes is a web app that works on any device with a browser. It’s designed with mobile in mind and works great on phones and tablets.
**How do I connect Apple Music?**
Tap the Apple Music card on the home screen to connect. You’ll need an active Apple Music subscription. Once connected, you’ll get full-length song playback instead of preview clips.
**Can I mix songs with videos?**
Unfortunately due to limits set by google and apple, you are not able to mix apple music with youtube. Sorry I wish it was different too.
